What is PTO?
- PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization. It is a partnership between parents, teachers and other school staff.
Who can be a PTO Member?
- As a parent of a WE student, you are a member of the PTO. A donation is requested to help meet school needs, minimum of $5.00 per family.
What is PTO money used for?
- Funds raised by PTO events or fundraisers are used to support ALL of our students and teachers. To name a few ways…family fun nights, teacher appreciation week, supplies, military child appreciation day, curriculum enrichment and so much more.
What fundraisers does PTO sponsor?
- Box Tops for Education, Scholastic Book Fair, Chipotle Night, Read-A-Thon, Membership Drive, Family Movie Night and so much more.
We encourage you to get involved in the WE PTO. Whether it is contributing to meetings, donating to our fundraisers, collecting Box Tops, volunteering your time or another way to contribute. We value our parents, students, teachers and staff. We welcome you to join the WE PTO at any time. Mission Statement
Whiteman Elementary School PTO is a non-profit organization comprised of parents, teachers and the administration of Whiteman. We are organized for the purpose of supporting the education of all our children by fostering strong relationships between the school, parents and teachers. Our mission is to aid and enrich the classroom environment of our teachers and students by promoting communication, sponsoring and organizing fundraisers and events to deepen our Panther Spirit!
